Ready for something different?
Join LSC on the bike trail from Arlington to Dallas! The long route takes riders between the levees and across the pedestrian bridge into Dallas, with several options for a rest stop. Those on the shorter route will end up in Irving with a choice between a convenience store or Braums (is that even a choice?). Of course the longer route riders can always opt to go up to street level and have a banana split too. Everyone gets to check out the new bike trail under Hwy 360, ride along the Trinity through wooded areas, past numerous parks, with minimal miles on roads with cars. We'll roll out at 7:30 AM.
There are shady sections but also open stretches with lots of sun. Be sure to bring plenty of fluids and stay hydrated.
